Exeter Events and Tents Supports 3rd Annual Nubble Light Race Challenge to Benefit NAMI

EXETER, N.H., July 11, 2012–Exeter Events and Tents, northern New England’s finest event equipment rental company, has provided a significant rental discount on a sailcloth tent, tables and chairs to help keep participants and attendees cool and comfortable at the Third Annual Nubble Light Challenge, Saturday, July 14.

All event proceeds will benefit the Maine Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), specifically programs in the local area that help children and families affected by mental illness.

Bob Reed, Race Director for the Nubble Challenge, noted, “As a non-profit, we’re honored to generate funds for an important charity, but we also want to provide a great experience for the 155 swimmers and 60 kayaker escorts from around the country who participate in the event. Exeter Events and Tents has been very generous about giving us a good package. It means a lot, and is an important part of our participants really enjoying the atmosphere of a great day.”

Local Company a Signature Sponsor of 20th Annual NHSPCA Paws Walk

EXETER, N.H., June 13, 2012–Exeter Events and Tents, northern New England’s finest event equipment rental company, recently donated more than $1,000 toward the cost of tents and a stage for the NHSPCA Paws Walk 2012, held Sunday, June 10 at Stratham Hill Park in Stratham. The 20th annual event raised more than $140,000 for the care of approximately 3,000 homeless animals that the shelter takes in every year.

“Every dollar makes a difference,” said Kelly Lemos, Events and Sponsorship Coordinator. “We receive no federal or state funding, and rely solely on our local and extended communities to support our operations and care for the animals. The tents and stage are logistical needs for our event, whereas the donation means more dollars that will help save lives.”

Local Company Supports First-Ever New Hampshire Event for Fighting Breast Cancer

Families in Transition program named first 2012 recipient of unique “Quest to Reinvest” program

EXETER, N.H., May 2, 2012–For the second straight year, the owners of Exeter Events and Tents have donated $1,500 in goods and services to Families in Transition’s premier “Cinco de Mayo” event, Thursday, May 3. Families in Transition is a Manchester-and Concord- based homeless services provider.

Through its Quest to Reinvest program, established in 2011, Exeter Events and Tents has committed to donate or provide substantial discounts on tents, tables, chairs, dance floors, stages and other special event and party rental merchandise in order to help organizations run fundraising events for a wide variety of critical services and causes. More than a dozen charitable and non-profit organizations throughout New Hampshire, down east Maine and northern Massachusetts were named grant recipients in 2012.
