As winter takes its toll on us, we thought it would be the perfect time to look back on this Summer day! Photographer Marcela Plosker captured the beautiful details of Laura & JB’s backyard horse farm wedding with rentals provided by Exeter Events & Tents!
We love the use of our walnut cross back chairs for the ceremony! So pretty in the sunlight – and how cool is their birch tree arbor?!
Sarahs Floral handled all of the floral pieces for this day – the yellow flowers fit perfectly into Laura and JB’s sunny day! We are so thrilled to have worked with planner Katydyd Events ! Here is some background on her from her website “ Becoming a wedding planner was a lifelong dream of mine that started when I was a little girl. I began planning my wedding when I was five and sadly I didn’t grow out of this phase. It only got more intense with age. It’s going to sound so cliche but when I saw the movie,The Wedding Planner , I was totally sold on wedding planning as my career and not just an obsession of mine.”
She did an incredible job coordinating all of the details of this day and having all the pieces come together! Enjoy the photos – be sure to scroll all the way down to see the special wedding guest!
We worked with our sister company Sperry Tents Seacoast for Lisa and Joe’s Bailey Island wedding! They provided that gorgeous sailcloth and we handled the rentals. We love our dark farm wood tables paired with our gold chivari ballroom chairs! The gold chargers and gold flatware looked so beautiful paired with the blue napkins and goblets!
We can’t forget to mention one of our favorite vendor friends that we work with frequently Griffin Griffin Lighting . They handled all those gorgeous pendant lights that bring so much character and warmth to the room- sometimes it is hard to believe that this is ALL inside a tent! Pillar and taper candles filled the center of these long farm wood tables adding even more of a warm glow to this setting!
Guests of Lisa & John’s were provided a wonderful meal from Kitchen Chicks Catering consisting of Mixed Green Salad with Wild Maine blueberries, Goat Cheese and Champagne Vinaigrette. For entrees they had Filet of Beef Tenderloin in a Madeira Reduction, Grilled Maine Lobster Tail with Lemon and Butter and Rosemary Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans!
We were so excited to have this day pop up in our inbox when Abigail Jean Photography quickly sent over this album not loing after Liz and Conrad’s special day! She also has a blog post on it you can access here but we did want to share a snippet of what she had to say about this day!
“Liz + Conrad got married at the most beautiful mountaintop venue in early August, amidst a myriad of gardens in full bloom, on a rainy day that turned to sunshine, surrounded by the people they loved best. The Gardens at Uncanoonuc Mountain was the perfect spot for a day that felt both relaxed and elegant, effortless and whimsical. “
Fun fact about this stunning day is that the bride actually owns Wild Lather so the favors for everyone were personalized triangles of soap! They coordinated beautifully with the table décor and settings – we were so happy to supply the tent and farm tables for this boho chic day.. but we’re even more excited to share Abigail Jean Photography‘s amazing shots!!
A fun fact about Katelyn and Jason that the incredibly talented photographers over at Ready Luck shared, is that these two have been together for 12 years, lived in 8 states, have 1 PhD and many milestones together — we are looking forward to the many more milestones they will continue to achieve!
Planner, Lori Walter Events did such an incredible job having this day come together so beautifully we can’t stop browsing through these photos! We are so excited to share that Exeter not only supplied the tent for this day but all of the interior rentals as well (check out those crossback chairs!!!) The white, green and wood tones of this day were simple, clean and so SO perfect for the location and overall vibe of the day! We looooove those table runners from Simple Bouquets!
In August we celebrated the wonderful marriage of Megan and Hugh! York is one of our favorite towns in Maine and this day will help you all to understand why! Trina Dinnar captured the day PERFECTLY. We love all the soft blue and grey tones incorporated into Megan’s color palette keeping the classy beachy theme while really complementing the incredible scenery around them!
Trina reflects on the day saying “Megan got ready at Harbor Cliffs Inn (part of York Harbor Inn) while Hugh got ready nearby at his family’s residence. The couple had a lovely first look in Hugh’s grandmother’s garden, which was also a great location for their pre-ceremony wedding party and family portraits. Megan and Hugh’s wedding ceremony took place across the street at Hartley Mason Reserve, which is a public park overlooking York Harbor Beach with splendid ocean views. Their wedding reception took place at the York Harbor Reading Room, which is a gorgeous private event space next to the park. There was even a surprise firework show, put on by Megan’s uncle. It truly was a night to remember!”
Enjoy these stunning shots! Wishing Megan and Hugh a lifetime of happiness! Thanks for choosing Exeter to supply the rentals for your special day we are so happy to have been a part of it!
**Also be sure to check out all of the delicious food pictures we couldn’t help but add in to the mix**
We have to start off by thanking Henry & Mac for providing all of these jaw dropping shots from Taylor and Brian’s stunning day at Granite Ridge Estate & Barn . Of course the day wouldn’t have been all so perfect if the incredible Nicole Mower Weddings + Events wasn’t there!
Every single detail of this day was clearly so well planned and thought through -it all came together so beautifully! BUT WE HAVE TO DISCUSS THE HANGING FLORALS. “One of Taylor’s favorite details was the dried grass cloud that hung over the dance floor. Pampas grass, lunaria, and branches came together in a wild installation that tied together the rest of the floral elements.” Nicole wrote on her Instagram, that they actually removed the chandeliers in the barn in order to make room for that install! Campfire Floral absolutely outdid themselves!
What a talented vendor crew. From the photography, to the planning, to the florals, to all of the sinage and paper products by AMR Calligraphy ! We are thrilled to have been in this group and even more thrilled for the incredible feature in Brides!!!
“We wanted our wedding to feel enchanting, understated, and timeless,” says Taylor.
We think they achieved just that! See below for some of our favorite shots!
First off we have to thank Kivalo for providing and sharing this incredible album with us. Honestly, it was hard to select an appropriate amount of “favorites” when downloading! Allen and Alyssa had the most picture perfect day and Kivalo absolutely got ALL the shots! From the stunning flowers put together by Watershed Floral to the delicious cake from Nothing Bakes Like A Parrot every little detail was thought out and perfectly organized thanks to Emily Elizabeth Events !
Nonantum Resort is set up with an amazing tent by our friends at Sperry Tents Seacoast. If you haven’t heard of this venue before we highly suggest you take a look at their website! Quoted directly from it “ The Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine has been awarded as one of the best wedding venues in Maine for multiple years by The Knot and Wedding Wire. Spring, Summer and Fall provide unique backdrops for an ideal Maine destination wedding and celebration in our lovely setting. “ We totally agree and are happy to have played a role for Allen and Alyssas day here!
Allen had the sweetest caption on his Instagram post we simply had to share before we let you dive into the images “Wedding of the century. Married the love of my life and my best friend this past weekend. We are so unbelievably happy. Thank you to everyone who made it possible, especially my beautiful wife @alyssakinell who took a vision from her mind and turned it into our reality”
We have quite the venue to show off today! Seacoast Science Center in Rye, NH is a seasonal home to one of our tents all summer long! Right on the shore with amazing ocean views its quite the classic new England spot! Meg and Cam celebrated their love here and used us for all of their rentals as well! They had their ceremony seaside, ate delicious cake, took photos on the rocks, and broke in that dance floor! A perfect combination of coastal accents gave this wedding the most charming touches of the Seacoast experience.
Keeping it classic, nautical and elegant they tied in their venue to their theme so well. We are so thankful to have all these amazing photos to share with you courtesy of the ever so talented Alanna Hogan ,Alanna shared on her Instagram that she had Meg slip on some flat bottomed shoes so they could get some awesome rocky shore shots! We love prepared photographers and ones that are willing to share their tips! Follow Alanna on Instagram here @alannahoganphoto and while you’re at it don’t forget to follow us! @exetertents – now, enjoy the photos!
This was such a unique wedding to us as the bride herself is a vendor we frequently work with! Alfonsina is always creating the most beautiful seating charts, menu cards, place cards, invitations and more at weddings and events we are supplying the rentals for! Her company AMR Callligraphy , is a “design studio specializing in custom modern-inspired stationery & calligraphy for couples who desire authentic, meaningful design “ .
With one of our favorite planners orchestrating the entire event, Nicole Mower , we knew this day would be nothing short of spectacular. Plus….. our clear tent really helped make this day a stand out! How incredible it is to enjoy the scenic gardens at John Langdon House while dining outside under our tent. We had the pleasure of having the incredibly talented Lindsay Hackney there to capture the day and provide these incredible shots! Funny enough we actually had a wedding with Lindsay AND Nicole the following weekend – so be on the look out for a blog post on that 😉
Enjoy the shots and be sure to note that outstanding seating chart made the amazing bride! HOW COOL IS THAT!?
Following an incredible July 4th we took the party to Rye for July 6th for Jasmine ansd Hunters special day! This is one of our favorite spots we are set up at, Seacoast Science Center states “Situated on the ocean’s edge, within historic Odiorne Point State Park, the Seacoast Science Center provides a unique and memorable setting for your celebration of a lifetime. The beautiful rocky coast is the perfect backdrop for your photographs and is sure to take your breath away. “
If you remember the day at all we were forecasted to have a pretty hefty storm roll through, Jasmine and Hunter were able to get a ton of shots outside during storm breaks and their first look came out beautiful due to the light sprinkle!
A seaside wedding can take on many different personas as far as décor and menu items but these two chose to keep it classic with a DELICIOUS lobster bake from our friends at Foster’s Clambakes and Catering !
Special shout out to Blue Locket Studios for capturing the day so beautifully and still managing to get all the incredible outdoor shots despite the weather hurdles! JUST CHECK OUT THAT TENT AT SUNSET!
